About Practice Charts
All students must practice to do well in band. Students enrolled in band must practice 75 minutes per week. We recommend students practice 15 minutes per day, 5 days a week. Private lessons taken outside of band rehearsals may count toward the 75 minute requirement. Students will be allowed two missed practice charts per quarter, and practice charts will not be required the week of performances. Practice charts can be submitted every Monday two ways: electronically (preferred) or on paper.

Paper charts
Paper charts can be printed via the PDF link below or they can be obtained from the boxes outside the band room at school. There is a separate box outside the band room where completed charts may be turned in.

Electronic charts
Charts filled out electronically must be submitted from a parent’s email address. Please save the document with “practice chart” and the student’s name in the title and attach the file to an email. You may also simply type the practice information into the body of an email and submit the chart. Please email completed practice charts to Mr. Pelt every Monday at pelt@timothychristian.com.
